It all started in Greenwood, SC, when a husband-and-wife duo—both public school teachers—struggled to find high-quality early education for their young daughter.
Their solution? Create a nurturing learning environment that would set a new standard for childcare. That’s how The Sunshine House was born! In fact, one of our very first schools, located on Grace Street in Greenwood, SC, is still welcoming children today.
From a Single School to a National Impact
Fast forward 50 years, and The Sunshine House has grown into one of the largest early education and childcare providers in the US:
